A dental assistant college offers various specialized and accredited training programs. The programs at such a college train a student to support the dentist in various things like patient care and lab duties.

The dental assistant education in such a college provides the students with a practical experience. They are trained to sterilize the equipment and prepare them for their respective procedures. Also the students are trained to provide instructions on post treatment care. They are also trained to aware the patients about their general oral health.
